This is VerCord's most important and most used feature. Here is how you setup all of VerCord's verification features/systems.
Start off by creating a verification channel and a verified role (create an unverified role if you're using the unverified role system or create another verified role if you're using the multi-role system). We suggest that you also create a verification logging channel but with this optional.
Make sure VerCord has access to view and send message in the verification channel and verification logging channel if you've created one. You also also must make sure that VerCord's official role is above the verified role (you must also do this if you're using the unverified role system as well as multi-role system. Just make sure VerCord's official role is above all those roles).
After doing step 1 & step 2, lets move on to the next step. You are now able to select and send one of our verification systems to the verification channel. All you have to do is start typing /setup and you should find our multiple verification systems.
You're now all set and have working verification to keep your community safe. You can check out all of VerCord's verification commands here.
VerCord has a small amount of moderation features but if you're looking to implement those features into your server, here is what you'll need to do.
Make sure VerCord has all the permissions set when first inviting the bot.
We suggest creating a staff role and giving that role permissions to use VerCord's moderation commands. If you already have a role, great, you're a step ahead! Make sure your staff role has these permissions: Manage Message and Manage Nicknames these are the most important permissions a user is required to have in order to run moderation commands. We do suggest fully setting up the staff role with more permissions.
